Mactan Int'l Airport Madness

Good Morning Everyone!

Did you know that, I took my first flight off the ground at 2009? I do not know if it was at April or late November the same year. But it was pathetic as can be. Sa tibook nakong kinabuhi, anya pa ko kasakay ug AIRPLANE at the age of 26! Grabe ka looy ni dodong! Pero I was riding different boats all my life from super ferries to almost every ship the Philippines can basically throw at me! I'll make a documentation of it soon to prove my point. Halos tanan sa Trans-Asia, Negros Nav, Aboitiz, Cebu Ferries, Gothong, William Lines or the merged WG&A. Na lukop na nako ug kalibang sa ilang mga respective C.R.s and constantly complained sa ilang outrageous prices sa FHM! Sa tanan nakong kabuang sa mga ships, nothing compared to actually flying! Deep at the consciousness of my mind, I understand nga pag ma crash ang airplane, wala jud mabuhi! Mataranta na gali ko ug turbulence specially leaving ground where your stomach churns to pressure! I hate flying as much as I hate swimming deep waters. The only consolation in flying is that you arrived sooner than expected. My first flight was Cagayan de Oro to Cebu and Vice versa. Mau ra na! I was lucky sa first time nako kai Airbus A380 pa to karun kai Airplane na nga murag helicopter! Katung types nga murag tora tora nga naay tapiraw! Gamay pa jud murag dili kadaug sa akoa inig lift off.
To ease up my tentions, here's what I did. Since gutom man, I went to the nearest sosi place. Kanang resto sa Hotel Cesario sa sulod sa Airport. I noticed nga dili man diay ko ka afford sa super mahal nga price not to include pa ang terminal fee nga murag Bus Fare from CDO to Butuan! grabe ka letse! Pero ala na man ta mabuhat. Either Pay up or you don't go home! So I order a lugaw at 120 bucks! and a mineral water 8 oz. at 50! Whew! Sosi jud. So gihurot nako ug yabo ilang mga suka, toyo, ug pepper. Wala sa akong pagkaun but underneath the table. Panabla gyud! A typical Filipino culture! hahay! Any ways, the airport had clean C.R.s man sad. Clean kai walay gapangihi. Specially sa Gate 5 o unsa ba kato. Nkalimot nako. Ilang mga souvenirs sa sulod sa airport kai mejo moderate lang ang price pero out of this world nga mga butang. For example, mkakuha ka didto ug guitar from mars, Otap from jupiter, kinotluan from Bohol, Dunkin Donuts?? Mcdo og JRJ.. Hahahaha. Except for the last part, joke joke ra to! hahahaha! We wouldn't dare believe JRJ of CDO would branch at Cebu! Here's the place where I find comfort and solace! Ilaha ra jud nga C.R.! Wala nay lain since ala na man sad ko pera kai ila na gihurot, magpahimulos na lang ko sa ilahang C.R. Marbled ang ding ding yet pangit nga tiles ang flooring. Daghan ko shampoo gi tabo sa imburnal ug gipa sirit sad nako ang tubig pag gawas! hahahahahahaha! Some environmentalist that I am. Pero gibalik ko ug sulod ug gi sirado katung na feel na nako nga I am getting my money's worth na. Anyways, my first flight were a blast.
